In the darkness you can only see him if he smiles. Teeth hovering in the air, shimmering like pearls. In the daylight he’s your shadow. He wears a hat slanted to one side. CHRONICHLES OF A STRUGGLING POET

Out of grim life’s ashes arises a poet...

Out of grim life’s ashes arises a poet…

Out of grim life’s ashes arises a poet
With a paper and pen he stages a duet
No longer a shadow of pain and regret
No matter the hurdles he will not fret
He lives to achieve the goals he has set

Shooting across the skies like a comet
He stands a warrior his dreams to be met
A brighter future he fights to beget
The past an echo he chooses to forget
He lives to achieve the goals he has set

He’s a spirit that refuses to be a puppet
As winds of change blow their trumpet
He is not just another crab in life’s bucket
But a unique entity in a special bracket
He lives to achieve the goals he has set

Wisdom his source and major inlet
Poetry his passion and major outlet
Attracting to the masses like a magnet
Inspiring souls to escape life’s woe net
He lives to achieve the goals he has set
